Poster design competition for high school students

To celebrate International Women’s Day 2011, the NSW Government is holding a poster design competition open to all high school students in NSW.

To enter, students are asked to create a poster that reflects the theme of International Women's Day 2011, ‘International Women's Day - Celebrating 100 Years’.

The top five placed entrants will have their posters uploaded onto the Office for Women’s Policy website, http://www.women.nsw.gov.au./

The winning student will receive $500 and $1,000 will be granted to their school. In addition, their winning entry will be used as the official NSW Government International Women’s Day 2011 poster and printed in the 2011 NSW Woman of the Year Honour Roll booklet.

Guidelines for the competition and the application form can be found below. The closing date for entries is Friday 3 December 2010.

For further information, or for assistance with the application form, please contact Frances Lockie, Office for Women’s Policy on (02) 9228 3141.
