There are so many amazing women's stories that never get told.

From Mary who gave birth and raised three children on a paddle boat, to Betty who runs a local Newspaper and recently received the Order of Australia – all remarkable women, and all with a story to tell.

Murray Darlings aims to bring these short inspirational, personal and funny stories to the screen by working with the residents living along the Murray or Darling Rivers.

Mildura resident, Sarah Simmons and award-winning film producer/director, Lara van Raay are behind the project and are creating a beautiful archive sharing Australia with the world.
Five stories are already up on the website... including Patty Brynes a member of our NSW Rural Women's Council:

Sarah and Lara have finalised their contact list and are ready to begin their unique project. Support is being sought from local companies for funding. Sponsors of this project will receive extensive coverage throughout the interview, filming and final stages providing each brand the leverage for an intimate connection with local, inspirational and influential women, as well as with the final viewer.
