Celebrate 100 years of International Womens Day with the National Rural Womens Coalition
Rural, regional and remote Australian Councils are invited to join the National Rural Womens Coalition's International Women's Day centenary celebrations by hosting an interactive morning tea with ABC radio & television host, Geraldine Doogue, on International Women's Day - Tuesday, 8th March, 2011, 10.30am EST
The morning tea will be hosted by local Councils in rural, regional and remote Australia and will create multi-layered connections through technology, food and local government.
The National Rural Women’s Network will also use social media interaction through facebook and twitter to connect with rural and remote women, wherever they may be, and create real-time conversations during the morning tea and live webinar, which all women can join and participate in.
Councils, REGISTER NOW to host an International Women’s Day morning tea with the NRWC, support the National Rural Women’s Network and get the women of your community connected!
Be sure to contact your local Council and encourage them to host a morning tea to celebrate 100 years of International Women’s Day and show their support for the rural women of Australia.
