Sustaining Our Towns

Sustainability – it’s our Future

Sustaining our Towns is an exciting project to encourage sustainable living across south eastern NSW.

The project is now offering a FREE home and garden reviews for residents of the Eurobodalla, Bega Valley, Bombala, Snowy River, Cooma Monaro and Palerang Council areas. If you book a home review, one of the Sustaining our Towns Sustainability Advisors will visit your home to look at your home energy and water use, as well as other factors like sustainable living and gardening.

You will then receive a personalised Home Sustainability Report suggesting long and short term strategies for making your home more comfortable, sustainable and affordable to run. To book your free Sustaining our Towns home and garden review call 1300 994 289.

The project is also running sustainable living workshops, supporting local projects and running a number of regional initiatives, including a regional food economy development project. The project website contains all sorts of information about sustainability for home owners, businesses, schools and communities. To find out more see  or call (02) 4475 1007.

Sustaining our Towns is funded by the NSW Government through its Environmental Trust. The project is co-ordinated by SERRROC in partnership with the Southern Rivers Catchment Management Authority, Clean Energy for Eternity and the 13 SERRROC Councils.
