Cattle Council 2011 Rising Champions Initiative NOW OPEN

Do you want to 'get involved' in the Australian beef industry and have your say on the issues that count? Have your voice heard by decision makers, travel to Longreach, Queensland to create networks with the 'best in beef' and go in the running to win an all expenses paid trip to Denver, Colorado, USA, which aligns with the National Western Stock, Rodeo and Horse Show. If you're between 21 and 35 years of age and passionate about the beef industry, apply now!

This initiative is made possible through Cattle Council's initiative partner, NAB Agribusiness and is supported by Rural Press Limited. This project is also supported by funding from the Australian Government Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry under Australia's Farming Future.

Applications for the NAB Beef Industry Rising Champions Initiative close on 31 August 2011. Visit www.cattlecouncil.com.au/risingchampions for further information, to download the form or to apply online.

  1. Allison was an amazing representative of Australia when she traveled to the United States. You can watch her along with other young ranchers from around the world in the Five Nations Beef Alliance video - http://crystalcattle.blogspot.com/2011/06/farmers-from-around-world.html
