Women’s Business is a gathering for Rural Women focusing on connection to the land, networking, and finding balance in a hectic world.

We aim to broach some of the big issues for women on the land in facilitated workshops; sharing knowledge and real-life stories of ordinary women achieving amazing things,” said Southern new England Land Care project officer Rebecca Smith.

A selection of informative and hands-on workshops covering a plethora of subject areas has been planned such as clay sculpture, bush tucker walks, no dig gardens, art workshops, wine appreciation and many more.”

Ms Smith said Women’s Business is a celebration of the incredibly versatile role rural women play in their communities and will strengthen their ability to continue leading inspirational lives.

The conference will run over three days from January 20-22, 2012 and will be hosted at the beautiful “Wattleridge”, Wards Mistake.

This is a property owned by the Banbai people, the traditional owners, who will be sharing their story and knowledge with all who care to join us for an amazing weekend of inspiration and fun,” Ms Smith said. “Join us for a weekend of information, friendship, food, wine and entertainment.”
