Let’s make the Royal Daimler fit for a queen again!

Help us tell the Australian story.

The National Museum needs your help to conserve the 1948 Daimler Landaulette, used by Queen Elizabeth II in the 1954 Royal Tour of Australia.

You can make a donation to assist them with the important conservation work so that we can have the Daimler operational and ready for display for the 60th Anniversary of the Royal Tour, in 2014.

  1. Thank you for your interest in the Royal Daimler Project.
This month the vehicle arrived in our Mitchell workshop and we have had a wonderful time cleaning up 40 years of oil and dust.
You can keep up to date with the progess and discuss with the National Museum conservators by visiting
