In its 27th year, The Sydney Morning Herald Young Writer
is the premier short story writing competition for senior students in Years 10 –
12. Thousands of students from all over New South Wales and the Australian
Capital Territory enter the competition each year with short stories ranging
from introspective thought pieces to satirical comments on modern life, and
everything in between.
Entries for The Sydney Morning Herald Young Writer 2012 are
now open.
