Women in Tourism & Hospitality $20,000 Scholarship

This prestigious award, now in its third year, gives a young woman from regional NSW the opportunity to achieve her career goals through a $20,000 scholarship grant from the AHA (NSW) Charitable Foundation.

The lucky recipient will undertake a three year Bachelor of Business Degree (International Hotel & Resorts Management) at the award-winning Blue Mountains International Hotel Management School.

There is no doubt that women are the backbone of the industry’s 40,000 plus regional workforce and play a major role in continuing to develop our tourism and hospitality industries – that is why AHA (NSW) Charitable Foundation is proud to sponsor this important initiative.

You are invited to nominate a woman you feel would be a worthy recipient: a woman who demonstrates the qualities of regional NSW – hardworking with a strong desire to succeed in the hospitality industry.

Your preferred candidate could be a staff or family member or any deserving young woman in your local community.
Last year's winner was Natasha Moss from Mittagong – who is now embarking on her first year of study at BMIHMS.

The 2012 scholarship winner will be announced at the Women in Tourism & Hospitality cocktail function on Thursday, 23 August, 2012.

To nominate a candidate follow these easy steps:
