Director of Qld Rural, Regional and Remote Women's Network (QRRRWN)
Inviting Expressions of Interest to assist leading this dynamic network

The Queensland Rural, Regional Remote Women's Network (QRRRWN) was established in 1993 to meet the needs of women in rural communities throughout the state. With their mission being "To Strengthen Women", they believe strong women equal strong communities.

Their activities include linking women across the state through their monthly e-news, our annual conference, the Strong Women Leadership awards, events focussed on International Women's Day and World Rural Women's Day, and projects benefitting women across the state.

QRRRWN is currently seeking additional board members. The position involves being an active board member, furthering the vision of the network and contributing to the long-term sustainability of the organisation.
We are seeking any of the following skills:
  • Company secretary
  • Governance skills
  • IT
  • Web management
Experience in not-for-profit leadership is desirable, as are skills as a strong communicator and leader. The ability to dedicate time and energy to QRRRWN as a working board member is essential.
