Rural women from across Queensland will gather in Blackall from September 9-11 for the annual Queensland Rural, Regional & Remote Women's Network (QRRRWN) state conference.
In its 20th year, the conference is well known for attracting inspiring speakers and running educational workshops, motivating participants for the year ahead. The 2013 QRRRWN Conference is no exception, with convenor Alison Mobbs and her local committee designing a vibrant program with the theme "Women of Heart, Passion & Purpose".
"We are delighted to announce our key note speakers are ABC Landline presenter, Pip Courtney, founder of the Baked Relief charity, Danielle Crismani and outback coach and mentor Robyn Pulman," Mrs Mobbs explained.
"We will also be holding our annual QRRRWN cultural competition and announcing the winners of the QRRRWN Strong Women Leadership Awards."
Mrs Mobbs explained that the conference will be a 20 year celebration for QRRRWN, and delegates from across Qld and interstate are expected.
"QRRRWN's annual conference has a reputation of equipping women in every community and we are ensuring the 2013 conference continues this fantastic tradition."
