The Calleen Art Award is an acquisitive national art award for painting in any subject. The award was established in 1977 by Patricia Fagan OAM and is made possible by the generous support of the Calleen Trust. The winner of the 2014 Calleen Art Award will receive a prize money of $18,000.
The Central West Regional Art Award is a non-acquisitive award for painting or drawing in any subject. This award is only open to artists living in the local government areas of Bathurst, Blayney, Boorowa, Cabonne, Cowra, Crookwell, Forbes, Lachlan including Upper Lachlan), Lithgow, Mudgee, Gulgong, Oberon, Orange, Parkes, Weddin, Young and Wellington.
The Central West Regional Art Award was established in 2009 by the Cowra Regional Art Gallery with the generous support of a private donor. The winner of the 2014 Central West Regional Art Award will receive prize money of $2,000. A first time winner will also receive the opportunity of a solo exhibition at the Cowra Regional Art Gallery.
