Reaching Out to the Cowra Community

The Department of Primary Industries (DPI) hopes to have a positive impact on local lives when it co-sponsors a mental health awareness dinner in Cowra on Friday 06 December.

John Harper, will expand on his Mate Helping Mate program with a talk about how simple acts of reaching out to friends and family can have a positive impact on their lives.

At a charge of $15 per person, organisers have kept costs down and those attending will receive free copies of John Harper’s Mate Helping Mate CD.

Locals from town and country, including high school students and parents, are encouraged to attend the event at the church hall in Darling Avenue, opposite Harry Chapman Park.]

To register for the Reaching Out: Simple act, big impact dinner please contact Maureen Knight, 6342 2435, 0427 776 716 andmnmknight13@bigpond.com by Monday 02 December.
